Russ Mills Born in 1971,I began to draw at an early age and kept doing so. In 1995 gained a BA Hons in Graphic Art and Design from Leeds Met University, specialising in Experimental Film and Animation, on leaving the comfort of the educational system was left with debt and some pencils. Bounced through some of the worst jobs known to man but kept drawing and painting, always learning and never satisfied began to develop and hone computer skills on an ageing Mac. My current work is a hybrid of traditional media and digital imaging, focusing on human idiosyncrasies both physical and emotional resulting in distorted forms both subtle and extreme.
